Visiting the site

This site runs on a server I operate myself in Germany. When you open a page, the web server records your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the referring page and your browser's identification. I need this to deliver the site and to protect it against attacks (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). These logs are deleted after 7 days.

There are no analytics, no advertising and no social media embeds. Links to other sites, such as LinkedIn or Mastodon, are plain links: nothing is sent to them unless you follow one.

Cookies

The site sets no tracking cookies. If you sign in as a subscriber, it sets a cookie that keeps you signed in. That cookie is needed for the service you asked for (§ 25 (2) TDDDG).

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict its processing, to data portability and to object (Art. 15–21 GDPR). You can withdraw a consent at any time, with effect for the future. You can also complain to a data protection supervisory authority.
